A typical metal smelting processing simulation platform will jointly build four professional research laboratories: Material Component Safety Performance Simulation Laboratory, Black Metallurgy Typical Processing Simulation Laboratory, Nonferrous Metallurgy Typical Processing Simulation Laboratory, and Typical Metal Smelting Accident Analysis Laboratory (as shown in the figure). Mainly targeting disastrous accidents such as explosions, liquid metal splashes, tilting, and leaks in typical metal smelting processes, the prevention and control targets are metallurgical reaction vessels (blast furnaces, converters/electric furnaces, refining furnaces), storage and transportation vessels (torpedo tankers, steel ladles, etc.), non-ferrous vessels and equipment ( bath smelting furnace, autoclave). The focus is on improving the safety performance evaluation ability of key materials/components in metallurgical equipment and the monitoring and detection ability of equipment prone to safety accidents in non-ferrous metal smelting. The simulation ability of disaster-causing mechanism of typical metal smelting safety accidents and the safety evaluation ability of new technologies, new processes, new materials, and new equipment in smelting furnaces and high-pressure vessels are improved, and a full chain technical system of "monitoring identification-big data analysis-calculation analysis processing" for typical metal smelting accidents is constructed, providing big data and computing capabilities support for safety monitoring, accident simulation, safety warning, emergency dispatch, and safety mechanism analysis.
Overall functional positioning of the platform:
(1) Failure mechanism/disaster-causing mechanism research: The ability to evaluate the safety performance of key material components (components) such as refractory materials, metal refractory composite structures, and tilting mechanism.
(2) Accident process simulation and analysis: Conduct experimental simulation and process deduction on safety accidents in black/non-ferrous metal smelting processes under different process conditions, including accident characteristics and hazard levels.
