On April 10, a delegation led by Zhang Liqiu, Deputy Director of the Work Safety Supervision Department of HBIS Group, visited the Technical Support Center for Prevention and Control of Major Accidents in Metal Smelting (hereinafter referred to as the "Metal Smelting Base") for research and exchange. Yang Jianhong and An Lu, Deputy Directors of the Metal Smelting Base, attended the meeting, which was chaired by An Lu.

Yang Jianhong extended a warm welcome to Zhang Liqiu and his entourage. He introduced the construction progress of the Metal Smelting Base project and the research and development orientation of the base. He stated that the base is built to serve the entire metal smelting safety sector, and is committed to enhancing the technical support capabilities for accident prevention and control, online monitoring and inspection of major potential safety hazards, accident investigation, accident traceability and emergency rescue in the metal smelting industry, providing a strong guarantee for the steady and continuous improvement of the work safety situation in the metal smelting field.

Zhang Liqiu noted that work safety is the top priority for enterprises. He expressed the hope to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Metal Smelting Base, and jointly boost the overall upgrading of work safety technologies and equipment in the iron and steel industry through the university-enterprise collaboration model, supporting the high-quality development of the industry.

Subsequently, the two sides held in-depth discussions on new metallurgical safety technologies, university-enterprise joint training and other topics. This exchange enhanced mutual understanding between the two parties and laid a solid foundation for follow-up cooperation in metal smelting safety technology and related disciplines.
